I'm getting really many web apps now and I wanted to build a common place to monitor them to make sure they are up and running and to see the website traffic and user logins to compare them.

This was really easy to build, but it requires every web app to add a small piece of code to actually create and provide the stats, I can integrate securely (password protected) to my run ops app.
Someone build something similar and found a more clever way to do this?
